Floating Home

We are delighted to have the opportunity to work on something truly extraordinary and very rare. When the landowner came to us and told us that he wanted to dispose of his lake, our first thought was that we were not in the lake selling business. However, having given it some thought, it occurred to us that here was an opportunity to create something very special indeed. The proposal is to design a floating home which would be the sole occupant of a 2 acre lake. The new dwelling would have spectacular views and enjoy wonderful seclusion.

This project is not without some difficulty as the planning process is not geared to consider this type of scheme, and it will take some ingenuity to promote this. We are working with a well known house boat/floating home designer who has considerable experience in these matters and our architect who has designed something very similar before.
